Would you consider the Stock Market to be the heart of society?

The “Stock Market” is nothing more than just a “Market”. One of many types of Markets. It is a place where shares of ownership in companies are traded. In fact, the Stock Market doesn’t even compare to the biggest market on earth. The Currency Markets.
The real Heart of our Society is all of our markets. And all our markets are nothing more than a reflection of our trade with one another.

Stocks
Bonds
Currencies
etc…

The heart of society is our morals & charity towards each other.
The Stock Market is most similar to our anus. It reacts to what we feed into it. When we live off of soda, chips, & grease, then our anus has a hard time passing out the processed food creating it hard to poop. However, when we feed ourselves (economy) well with green stuff, lean protein, and fruits … well, the pooping experience is pleasent.

The Stock Markets function more like the appendix of the economy, and no social functions to speak of. It serves no useful purpose, nobody (particularly the self proclaimed experts) is sure about what useful thing if any, it does. When it is inflamed it can bring the country to its knees, and if it were to be excised, we wouldn’t’ miss it.
